I live in Aylesbury and was hoping someone near might be able to help. I need a mobile mechanic to re-activate my Range Rover. I had fitted new Air Suspension Strut and now I need code reset. Discovery 3.9

You should fine the EAS will pump itself back up, at least to standard height? Then you can drive to your dealer or indy...

I have heard that if you disconnect battery leads and then touch them together that this resets computers etc, is this true, and do you think this might help. On my P38 changed all air suspension, after a leaking bag, fitted new and it all fired up ok, no restting. Discovery 3.9

dont touch the leads together ...let the range rest for 20 minutes before dis-connecting the battery..if you are in swindon i can try out my RAC and see if i could clear your faults.. |

Agreed - if it's sat on the bump stops then one of the sensors could have gone "out of range" In theory the plausibility checks should still allow for standard height to be achieved. Is it up at all, or is it on the bumps? |

One thing you want to be sure of and I made this mistake a few months ago when I replaced both my front struts.
