Hello, my 2012 Westminster came with a black and a grey socket electric system. Due to covid we haven’t used the caravan at all so far but might use it next month.
I prefer the 13 pin system (which my caravan has) so I ordered a 13 pin kit from p f jones. I hoped to just swap it over but I have read conflicting information on this. Does anyone know if the vehicle would have to be re programmed for the 13 pin version ?

The 13 pin I did tell the car via my iid tool but I think there plug and play anyway, fit it and try if it needs enabling ask on here if anyone local can do it for you 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8

Thank you. That’s also why I’m confused. It says plug and play, then it also says there is coding ‘yes’ then all sorts of other conflicting information about reverse sensors and fog lights !
I guess if I just fit it soon and try it I will have time to get any coding sorted if necessary.

I may be wrong but as yours has the twin electrics the 13 plug should be the same set up just one plug so if the reverse sensors etc work now they should be ok after 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8

I swapped over from a two plug to one plug 13 pins? on my 2011 SE? When the car has never had a towing system fitted then it needs to be programmed as was the case for my 2012 AB.
