Do you have a cell phone charger plugged into the cigarette lighter socket?

Only the cigarette lighter but even if that's removed the static is still there. I've noticed the radio station appears randomly on the cluster and then disappears. It's almost it like the radio is hunting for the station if that makes sense |

Just a thought here that I kinda had the same problem with. Have you changed any lightbulbs over to LED by any chance, or some LED bulbs fitted you don't know about? The reason is because, I swapped over my rear lights from clear supercharged ones to smoked supercharged ones and the bulbs that came with it were all LED. So when I tested the lights after fitting, my radio did exactly the same as what you describe. so just swapped the bulb holders over with the old ones and radio was back to normal. Luckily the radio was on when I tested the lights so found out straight away. I presume they was cheap crappy Chinese toot and went straight in the bin. Hope this maybe some help to you. |

Good shout that one mate. I changed the lights recently when I got the car but it kept the original bulb holder so was just the lenses that was changed from clear to smoked lights.

I have those same faults too, I clear them and they come straight back but don't have a problem with my radio. Sounds like it maybe a problem with an earth wire somewhere. Did it only start to do this when you changed the lights over? If so that would be a good starting point. A loose wire or bulb. |

It’s a bit similar to how my audio fault started. Now nothing at all.

Any of this look some what dodgy to you guys. Had a look in the wiring section and it appears too be nice and dry. I'm still getting the interference however I have noticed that now and then the radio picks up the name of the station and you get a short period of normal radio but then soon get the static sound back. I'm thinking given that speaker 11 is apparently faulty would this have a potential interference as its no longer a complete circuit?
