Tranmission, HDC and Park Barke Errors

Unfortunately my code reader is very basic so it can't even see the faults I've got.

Dash display says Transmission Fault, restricted gears and HDC not available. I can't select any of the terrain settings and the suspension wont move up or down - both arrows flash on the switch. It also seems to intermittently bang on about the Park Brake - but that seems to go away after a minute or so.

The faults show at ignition switch on - I don't have to start the vehicle to see them.

I think maybe something is not connected right because I've just completed a head gasket change.

I started the vehicle many times in various states of the rebuild without any issues at all. It only seemed to through the errors after I've bolted on the pretty bits, bumper, lights etc.

Anyone have any pointers as to what might be causing this ?

(I'm pretty sure the transmission and air suspension are ok for a number of reasons which I wont bore you with now)

I've heard a bad battery can throw all sorts of errors on other Land Rovers ? - So I've got mine on charge atm just to be sure.

Any help greatly received. (It's a 2007 3.6 TDV8)

Going to answer my own question in case it helps others......

Faulty +battery terminal connector (on the red lead, not the battery) - connected but obviously not well enough.

Swapped it out and all the faults cleared !
