I’m consistently getting around the 30mpg mark, although mostly longer journeys and generally light right foot. |

I’m getting 29.5-31.1 just being out and about. Yes I give it the beans sometimes and I usually drive at about 60-70mph

So today I was thinking about this question as I was travelling to collect my car after having a replacement fuel sender fitted under warranty.

Not really done many serious long journeys yet. We have been up to Islay. I think we only got 27mpg. But the wife was driving !

Okay. Usually heavy UK traffic, stop-start, lots of 50mph roadworks down to Portsmouth. Docked in Santander and did the first trip before re-fuelling in Haro. To be fair, the car was heavily loaded. It’s also a lot of hill climbing up to Haro.

TeeMyob: just installed fully.com on my iphone, in the days when I had my chauffeur company I always used my 'little blue book' every gallon/mpg went in there for absolute years......now retired, fully.com looks like a bit of fun, thanks for showing that. 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!

Its so much better when people take the time to input accurate info. Interesting to see how much more fuel efficient the 405 can be. |
