Yesterday I made it work by towing a trailer across fields to get some firewood. Now it just needs to rain hard enough to wash the mud off so I don't have to. |

Went to Hassop Hall, near Bakewell for annual pre Christmas Sunday lunch and for Father in-laws Birthday - it was as good as always and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

Replaced the rear tailgate window gas struts - took all of 5 minutes and I am left wondering why the previous owner never fixed them as one was just sitting there and was used like a prop to keep the window open. |

Yesterday, in to local independent mechanic for oil change and check up. Given a generally clean bill of health with only a side marker light and two filters (air filter and cabin) needed.

Inspected and cleaned the spare wheel area + spare wheel (as new), fixed a couple of tiny cracks on the boot rigid tray (hot weld) then cleaned it all (AG Vinyl and Rubber care), then clayed the rear window, all 4 lights, then AG glass polished them + wing mirror.

,^^ they all do that sir😜 honestly they do though, have liked at a few and most have the corrosion on the side strips, personally I would just take them off permenantly There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Just took them off but it leaves a rather large gap between the window and the D pillar covers.

Must just collect water which then starts the corrosion. A bit of silicone grease when fitting may help with that.

Most likely, unless the 2009 window is slighlty narrower to allow room for them - doubt it though l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l
