Plugged in my new IID Tool and cleared a load of fault messages which will hopefully not reappear
Got it from LR Direct. Previous cars:

United States 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Java Black

I used it as a flashlight (and a parts store runner) when my intake manifold removal and knock sensor replacement job on my GMC ran late.

I also couldn't help but smirk a few times when I realized that I was doing this job on the "super reliable American truck" and not the "super unreliable British truck". Knock on wood.

Fitted an iPod interface

I used to have an iPod cabled to the aux input, but meant I always left the iPod in the drinks holder.

I did the same with my Jeep & got the window smashed on that last week & the iPod nicked, so figured it was time to do it properly in the FFRR.

Took about 2 hours - fairly straightforward & now it's kind of integrated.

The track name & artist are displayed - only the first 5 playlists can be used - and the steering wheel controls work now. Not perfect, but good enough Thumbs Up

Not sure it was really worth the £414 it cost me - but if it saves a smash & grab, then I guess it is......

It also means no more being tempted to look down at the iPod when I shouldn't now as it's in the glove box.

Did you get the Land Rover iPod adapter thing, or a third party device? I've been thinking of doing this to mine too. 2007 Range Rover Supercharged

Should be like new later. Smile
