Is Key 2 your main key though Joe or has it recognised it hasn't been used for a while and is just warning of this? FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Had to go to work in mine this morning as all of the roads round here are flooded, I had to test the wading capability of the car to the full in some places.

500mm is what it says in the hand book. TBH i think it was probably deeper than that in places. Shocked

performed faultlessly. Thumbs Up though im sure that any deeper may have been problematic. keep up with the bow wave.......etc. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Went to work and came home. Went through a local ford thats well known on way there an back, though its a .5mile diversion always fun for the extra 5 mins Smile

This morning as the engine was a lot warmer i went into access mode as its only 4-5" deep and loved the steam cloud behind me Very Happy

Its very fast flowing but boxed in my softish walls each side and with the weight of the FF i knew it wouldn't get pushed about in such a low volume of water.

Roads are littered with big puddles which are now slowly fading away Sad

Luckily its an offroad weekend so on saturday she is going to play in the green lanes around llangollen Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

^^^^Flood dodging Richcl, that not the full fat way Very Happy

Mine has gone into the MD to try and have a few of the remaining niggles sorted out before the warranty runs out in Jan. Rolling Eyes

this trip is for

1 x fogged up headlamp
1 x non return valve on rear wash wipe
try to fix FBH. I think that the problem is with the water control valve on the bulkhead, so I have left it with them tonight and i am going there on the way to work to "demonstrate" the problem.

Hopefully I should be able to get most of this under warranty.

everything crossed, Just the engine and gearbox left from the original car now.......... Rolling with laughter There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Replaced drivers door handle cable, snapped this morning while I was out and about so I called Landranger Services in Longton on the off chance they might have one and low and behold they did Very Happy back at home approx 1hour in the garage and the job was done and dusted. The cable was £8.50

I picked mine up after a 3 day trip to Hunters to diagnose and repair a fault with te fbh.

They replaced the entire unit under warranty (£1300 bill) Thumbs Up to hunters yet again.

Will give it a shot in the morning to see if its actually working. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Got the winter tyres and wheels put on and somehow managed to knock the boo-tlid out of alignment when driving home (wheels rolled about in the back). Hopefully should be an easy fix as long as they haven't done too much damage.

Well went offroading with MORC and did wayfarers again in reverse this time and god is one side of it ruddy tight with rock faces on each side and only leave a few mm of space literally!!!

Also I managed to do corwen car wash! I think I would only ever so it in the one direction with the passenger side facing upstream as in moving water you can't keep a now wave at low speeds and means the drivers side vent and headlight are in a low water spot which is the critical bit! Made it through and not a drop of water inside Smile gotta love double door seals!!

Non punctures this time but need a wing mirror housing thanks to a side slope on slate and a tree Big Cry

Another great day out and loving the fact that people love to see it being used offroad and always ask about it Smile

I'm tempted to keep the mtrs on as I saw snow yesterday and feel that we stand a good chance of the weather going that way in the next few months, yes they aren't wintracs but should be better than the scorps and low tread wranglers, especially if we get a good covering of the stuff Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
