Anyone any idea how to get the format better, when I type it in there’s loads of spaces between the mpg and the model and the name. Would be good to make it easier to read.

To keep your spacing, you can wrap your text with "code" tags, e.g.

I would try and make some reference to if the figures were on the dash or calculated as the can vary wildly. 25.9 indicated was actually 23.5 at the pumps. The diesels are worse for this especially when remapped or with tuning boxes. Normally makes 20% optimistic. Also driving like a saint for my entry? Daft question which I didn’t ask is everyone running regular fuel or super? as that will make a difference in the mpg.

Also Thankyou to everyone who has provided a number, it’s an interesting array of economy in there, as long as you take it with a degree of error on dash/actual, driving style, road type and fuel variants.

What's really surprised me is the noticable difference between the 5.0 and 4.2 figures - would be interested in more data to see if that is consistent.

Is it worth pasting this list into your first post in this thread so it's easier to find in future?

Always premium fuel, mostly Shell V Power

Won't get into that argument again but I run mine on 95 as that's what it recommends in the manual...

One thing to note is how accurate is the speedo, mine, with the slightly larger 55 aspect tyres is absolutely spot on at 70mph when checked with GPS, it was about 4-5mph (7-8%) under reading with 50 aspect. This will effect the distance recorded as well...

Seems to me that you need to just note the results individuals get but don't be surprised if you don't get it...

Post 2010 322's are better than the earlier ones, and the newer the 405 the better... just as you would expect really...

DJ... the main reason the 5.0S/C is better than the 4.2S/C is because it is a direct injection engine, this makes a big difference to power, emissions and frugality.  Pete
