The wiring colours on the heater side of the connector do not correspond to the colours in the vehicle loom eg. black (-ve) in the main loom goes to pin 6, whereas the heater connector pin 6 has a brown cable.

The Eberspächer receiver wiring is different to the Webasto.

For the Eberspächer:

RX connector--Heater connector--Function
Pin 2------------Pin 1------------- +12v
Pin 6------------Pin 6------------- Chassis (0v)
Pin 5------------Pin 4------------- RX signal

Unfortunately I no longer have the vehicle so can't send photos to help.

Thank you very much, invaluable information as I got everything bare. For the signal I’m guessing the green wire shown in the picture ?

Thank you for responding.

Not the green wire

Connections on FFBH side of the connector:
Pin 1 red - 12v
Pin 2 green - fuel pump
Pin 3 - no connection
Pin 4 blue/white - RX signal
Pin 5 blue/yellow - LIN bus to HVAC control
Pin 6 brown - 0v (chassis)

Connections on the main loom side of the connector:

Pin 1 grey/red - 12v
Pin 2 brown/blue - fuel pump
Pin 3 - no connection
Pin 4 - no connection (would be brown/violet if wiring fitted for FFBH remote)
Pin 5 green - LIN bus to HVAC control
Pin 6 black - 0v (chassis)

All working great, programmed 2 remotes,

Had to play with connector, ended up being pin 2 power 5 signal connected to blue/white wire and 6 earth. Without knowing the signal wire it would be a headache.

Did a CCF relearn at the end, no faults at all, no diverter valve fitted.

Thanks to Fifth Horseman for the help
