Hi guys,

Since owning my 3.6tdv8 L322 I have noticed a leak from the N/S/R of the engine which has been getting progressively worse recently

Initially I suspected the front differential output seal, however after thoroughly cleaning it down and doing 200 miles of dry driving it appears it's not that seal, but coming from above the differential and leaking down onto the heatshield and being spread by the driveshaft

So far I am struggling to pinpoint it, there is fresh fluid collecting on the underside but I've not been able to find the actual source of the leak.

I have a suspicion that it may be coming from the transmission cooler pipes, is this something anyone has dealt with before, does it sound familiar?

If it's gearbox fluid it will be either red or straw coloured and should still have a colour and not look like blacker than coal engine oil...

Can't help with where from, usually clean the area fully, take it for a short drive and have a look.... Pete

I have come to the conclusion it's transmission fluid, just wasn't sure if gearbox or front diff initially
