bought an iid bt tool second hand ,followed gaps change of ownership guide to the letter couldn't get no further due to the following, showing i,m connected then under available devices has, tool does not respond , tried most of the weekend me right off to be frank , got an android phone not a cheapy one google pixel 4a, anybody had similar issues with android phones as i'm thinking that maybe it, screen shot below thanks.

If it's second hand you need to get the last owner to give you his login so you can remove it from his account... email gap, they will help you sort it out...  Pete

I am an apple-phobe and can report no problems at all using an Android phone. (also a Goggle Pixel something or other as it happens!) Bish.

Thanks gents, contacted the seller he got hold of gap they removed his pass seller couldn't have been more helpful, as for gap great customer service. I'm not going to be able to get to the car till the weekend so fingers crossed.
