I would do both leads and disconnect main computers under seats etc? |

Get your earth lead as close to the weld site as possible to eleviate any chance of putting current through any ecus |

When you disconnect the battery, put the +&- together. This will short the existing power from any components sir |

^^ if you do this and have a secondary battery, don't forget to disconnect it, too.

hi thanks for all your help . cam tech craig are you saying keep them together when i am welding or just touch them together and then keep them apart to discharge them thanks oggy new vehicle purchase

From memory i think its disconnect positive and negative wait 20 mins then touch them together for 10secs.
