I have a factory fit removable tow bar and am intending to spray the receiver so it looks a bit tidier....

Any US 2" receiver cover should do the trick.

I’ve never towed anything, it’s just looking more brown now. Just been and had a look, and I can see nut is 24mm and the whole lot is spinning round. Might cause more trouble than it’s worth......

The big advantage of the receiver hitch, along with it heing more robust than the deployable towbar, is the number of different accessories that can be fitted to it Google “receiver hitch accessories”. |

You can find various rubber plugs for the receiver part on-line - often very cheap.
