No, the wiring should just plug into a module in the right hand boot cubby, the module for the trailer on a 2004 is a box about the size of a packet of cigarettes. If you have a genuine harness then this should just be plug and play, plus a bit of telling the CCf there is a to leave fitted. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Thank you - that’s what I did - it fitted right next to the circuit break in the boot!

It’s a grey area.... if it works I wouldn’t worry.... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Haven’t tried it yet! Just wanted to make sure to take fuses with me when I will pick up the trailer!
