Clearly the compressor isnt being called, cycle the aircon or econ button on / off to make sure it's enabled. BMW i3 Electric Car

I took mine to Kwik Fit today for a re gas and it wasn't holding the pressure so will need to find the leek now. thanks for your advice though |

Did they not put a dye in it for you? It shows under UV light and makes leaks very easy to spot.

No they didn't put any dye in dare I say time to take it to a proper garage Ill send to an indy that I use the only reason to use Kwik Fit was if it didn't work it's free. |

An extra question for this thread, does anyone have any suction / discharge or system pressures taken from a system running in good order, that would be a help when diagnosing faults Thanks Couldn't find any figures on the net, I am used to working on big Air Con / large fridge systems, but not tiny ones on cars |

Yes you will get some variations, but for instance with the car sitting idling on the drive say at 25 degrees ambient temp would give you a datum point as an example of a a system in good order, ball park figures so to speak. |
