Air con is blowing warm

My car has been sat for a while due to someone taking the front bumper off with there van. Last week I jump started it as the battery was flat and the air con was working fine.(ice cold). I just when out in it to day and for some reason it would not cool down I ended up switching it off and opening the windows
I had a new compressor fitted about a year ago. here is the results from my gap tool
any ideas would be welcome.

Clearly the compressor isnt being called, cycle the aircon or econ button on / off to make sure it's enabled. BMW i3 Electric Car

Have a look at the above recent thread. Different fault, but contains some relevant info.

Did you have the fan running when you used the gap tool, if so it looks like the climate control unit is not recognising the fan as running. I would think that this would inhibit the signals to the compressor clutch and isolation / expansion valve. If the fan will start / stop and you can vary the speed the FSR is probably OK.

Have a quick look at the wiring to the comp / clutch and expansion valve.

If you have lights on the panel, it's not a fuse as all climate functions are controlled by a PCB within the climate control panel. It may be worth removing the panel for a quick look and clean with contact cleaner as it is an easy cheap first job during fault diagnosis. Hope this helps and I hope I am not barking up the wrong tree Thumbs Up
Will be re-gassing mine later today, so will give it a bit more thought.

I took mine to Kwik Fit today for a re gas and it wasn't holding the pressure so will need to find the leek now. Crying or Very sad thanks for your advice though

Did they not put a dye in it for you? It shows under UV light and makes leaks very easy to spot.

No they didn't put any dye in dare I say time to take it to a proper garage Ill send to an indy that I use the only reason to use Kwik Fit was if it didn't work it's free.

An extra question for this thread, does anyone have any suction / discharge or system pressures taken from a system running in good order, that would be a help when diagnosing faults Thanks Thumbs Up Couldn't find any figures on the net, I am used to working on big Air Con / large fridge systems, but not tiny ones on cars Rolling with laughter

Yes you will get some variations, but for instance with the car sitting idling on the drive say at 25 degrees ambient temp would give you a datum point as an example of a a system in good order, ball park figures so to speak.
