As I said on your other post check the rubber hoses before committing to pump removal. 2 new hose clips and cut 1/4 inch of the hose back then recheck 2007 TDV8 VSE

Good to hear the pump can be re-sealed without drama, sorry to hear there is another issue, no idea how to test but the Pump pressure regulator or Fuel Rail pressure sensor seems the obvious
