I've often wondered the same Dan. Have a look at part number 'Land Rover DED500180'. I've looked at other cars and can't see anything fitted. |

The early ones didn’t have them. They stop water running off the edge and dripping inside when you open it..... with water on... but they corrode quite badly and look a mess, so a few folk have removed them.

My 2012 has them but they do corrode and blister and look like crap.

Do you mean these? A lot of people take them off, people often think it looks cleaner without. I like them.
