You can get glass polish, but that will only take out very minor scratches.

I have no idea Dan...I suppose I could ask my broker although it might make sense to raise it with them after I make my renewal at the end of May.....I can't tell you how angry I am at the moment!!!!! |

I have had success with Jewellers Rouge in the past - depends how bad it is though - might need a new rear window if its really deep.

Absolute scum. I know it's little consolation, but just be glad they didn't key it. Glass can be replaced, panel damage from keys is much worse!

You can get a glass polishing kit but you will need a rotary polisher. Doing it by hand is a no-no unless you live to be 1000. I've used this stuff to good effect in removing small scratches and wiper trails etc.

Forget polishing as even if you get it out that area will be shinier than the rest of the glass and look awful.

Thanks mzplcg Just back from Halfords and couldn't find anything that I thought would work...will perhaps get hold of a bottle of your polish and try it...If not then its looking like a replacement window |
