The rubber is not likely to leak, it usually leaks where the rubber meets the metal fittings... no relevance to your original issue though.. Pete

As coolant is cheap, perhaps worth to empty, flush and refill the system fully. Then monitor it from there. I’d be generous with flushing it out |

So just an update, I’ve replaced the transmission oil cooler and tested the old oil cooler for leaks but none apparent cold.
