Hi all,

Recent issue happened today done quite bit research.

so randomly car has hissing coming from radio, turned audio off sound was still there whoever radio is on or off, then popping.. then no sound at all... radio turned on fine showing radio stations but no sound at all...

so removed fuse 49 for while, and turned car back on.. sound worked for 60 seconds then same issues.. all the radio stations come back as normal.

when turning radio on the amber light turns on like normal, but noticed the DSP on menu shows up for 30secs on menu then goes greyed out and then cannot click it and no audio, randomly comes back for 10 secs then greys out again.. sometimes when turning car on there is no DSP on menu at all..

in back car I cleaned the Black AMP DSP unit connectors and plugged back in... same issues..

Then removed connector to check fuse on the BM54 radio unit thingy and the little micro fuse is ok..



Am I right in thinking this is most likely the BM54 unit playing up as it sends signal to the DSP unit ??? or is the DSP unit at fault.. as seems mixed online to which could be.. before I order a replacement module to see if fixes issues..


Any advise or help be great ! before I end up ordering both units second hand.
