And when they have been gone a while they start to knock every time you go round a corner at lowish speed, mine were like it when I bought it.... you can check the play with a pry bar against the upper wishbone... johnboyairey by using two sockets you have perfectly parallel faces to pull against as the larger socket is held flat on the wishbone side thereby minimising and chance of the bush skewing. Am in favour of thoroughly cleaning the hole the bush goes in but in a non-aggresive way. anything which removes more than crud is to be avoided. Similarly take care with grease etc any many will cause the rubber on the new bush to perish. I used WD40 in the hole but on reflection i might have used a smear of Copperslip instead.
