England 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zambezi Silver

Hi all

With a good weather forecast I cleaned the underside of Silvia using a jet washer and an up turned patio cleaner. The results were good so yesterday was a drying off day.

This morning I started by removing the rear bumper and the getting underneath and brushing and remaining visible dirt away. I then warmed the Lanoguard and prepared the supplied nozzle that screws into the 5L container.

Here are the results:

I absolutely saturated every part of the underside and chassis. I also used the 360 degree wand to go into every nook and cranny possible. I then let the Lanoguard dry and gave it another coat. This is how much I used

It was as simple as spraying WD40. No mess and no covered in black like the last time I used Waxoyl.

All in all I’m a convert!

Jim

Im going to do this soon it was either this or dinitrol as this last longer im told but maybe alittle messier spraying that, I wonder if using some sort of degreaser would be best to spray on first or just a blast water from the jet wash, did you clean it first with anything?

I sprayed my rear box with Rustoleum Matt black spray paint. I just jet washed it and let it dry first.

I cleaned the underside using a rotary patio washer that I turned upside down. I place the head of the washer in an old washing up bowl and pushed and pulled it around the underside. It did a surprisingly good job!

Previously I owned Discoveries throughout the 1990’s and early 2000’s. I a.ways ended up Waxoyling them but is was just so messy and such a faff. This stuff is simple.

If I were to buy the kit again all I would buy is the 5L container with the supplied hand sprayer and the probe.

Good pics, Looks a good job and sounds easier and cleaner than Waxoyl. Might give it a go when I get round to it! 2009 Range Rover Vogue 3.6TDV8, Bournville, Parchment/Navy

I decided not to go for the tub of grease as I wanted to be able to see what is going on with the chassis in the future. The spray is really easy and clean and appears to coat and creep very well.

I bet that it was simple to spray the chassis with your car in its roof.......😅

I was going to ask you over on FB if you belonged to the FF forum 👍
