You're asking in the wrong place. If you want to be talked out of it, post on the Lexus forum...! Graham

Thanks guys. You’ve all done a marvellous job. I’m going to head over on Saturday and do the deal assuming it’s not sold by then. Presumably I’ll be back relatively quickly for advice

No need to be nervous just find a good local indy and give him direct access to your bank account and it will be fine |

Well, I went for a test drive and took it to a friends garage to look at. It needed brake pipes (he said he’d have failed it), a few suspension bits, side steps were rotten and the rear tailgate was worse that I’d thought, the rust was through the paint. Not including 4 new tyres which it’d have needed shortly it needed about £1400-1500 spending on it to make it right. So, alas, there was no deal to be done. |

Keep looking, the right one will come along eventually. I walked away from many before purchasing mine.

If you do find one, I use pvh Land Rover in stokesley for all my FFRR needs, they have been there for about 30 years and always do me a great job at reasonable price. Keep looking, I had to go to Chelmsford for mine, but once you decide on the spec and colour you want, don’t let distance put you off! Just spent the morning cleaning mine and I still love it as much as the first time I drove it 2012 westminister Overfinch Obsidian Conversion |

Have a good look at it & take your time. 12 months warranty is good though. If you can get hold of the chassis No then you can do an HPI check, this would give you the current MOT status, but not as good as doing a full MOT check as this lists any previous failures & advisories.

Those look like Overfinch wheels. They can tend to crack at edges and then leak air. As well as having that "bling" or "pimped" look. I had same on mine but have gone back to "stock" rims. 19". I found someone off a well known online trading site. |
