Wiper Blades

I want to replace front and rear wiper blades. I've read there are special fixings? A number offer them for the L322 so will some of these not fit? Also does the wipers have a service position? If not how do you get to them to replace especially the rear one? 2009 Range Rover Vogue 3.6TDV8, Bournville, Parchment/Navy

For front wipers https://boltonbits.co.uk/aero-flat-front-w...-l322.html

No idea about the rear, but I do know it's a swine to change.

Actually see they do a set of fronts and a rear so will go for that. Thanks for tip. 2009 Range Rover Vogue 3.6TDV8, Bournville, Parchment/Navy

No idea about the rear, unfortunately, but I'm watching this with interest because mine will need doing soon.

By the way, there are cheaper wipers than the ones I linked to but they come highly recommended by Jerome Andre (verydisco on here) in this month's LROI magazine.

Yes have seen a number of options but these look like they will fit without issues. As I said I've got a set with the rear included so no doubt will have fun fitting that! 2009 Range Rover Vogue 3.6TDV8, Bournville, Parchment/Navy

To help change the rear blade, albeit on a 12my, but should work on an 09.

Turn on the ignition without starting the car
turn on the rear wiper
pop the upper tailgate when the wiper is in a vertical position
turn off ignition
open lower tailgate (as you will shut the upper by leaning on it and then the arm parks up!!)
change blade
close both tailgate halves and the wiper goes to park.

HTH

If I find a service position for the fronts I'llpost it up, but I changed mine with them parked without trouble. Cheers
Richard

Where did you find the set with the rear included?

I'd like one of those for mine.

Dunc, this is the ebay number I used eBay Item No. 231130867728. They do an Aero blade set as well which is eBay Item No. 360919244512 bit more expensive but it's an option. Boltonbits is the seller.
Thanks RJFF for tip on fitting. Mine has keyless start so I hopefully I can sort it. If fronts can be fitted as is, that's fine. 2009 Range Rover Vogue 3.6TDV8, Bournville, Parchment/Navy

Mine's keyless, I just push the start button without pushing the brake pedal.

Guess "ignition" is an old term now Smile Cheers

I replaced the rear last week. I used a blade from Allmakes P/N LR012047G
Generic no. PB-18 (18”/457mm)

Luckily, I still have the old one so I’ll take a pic of the holder and post it shortly.

For 2003 models, etc.
Turn on ignition.
Turn on rear wiper.
When the wiper is vertical, turn off the ignition. Wiper will stop.
Rotate wiper blade (in it's normal axis) and the blade will disconnect from the arm leaving behind the plastic fitting.
On each the side of the blade holder fitting is a square hole. Slip a small screwdriver in there to release the locking tab.
Slide the blade holder upward toward the top of the screen and off the hooked arm.

That was the old wiper blade.

The new one has an easy to reach tab to lift up and to slide the whole assembly off the hooked arm. Ron B. VK2OTC
