Hi,
Local bodyshop removed my fuel flap to get a colour match. Had the car back for a few weeks now and went to fill up this morning. Notice that the flap now doesn't stay open when you are trying to fill, keeps closing against the nozzle. Sure it didn't do this previously? pretty sure when you opened it, it stayed open?
I have taken it off and can fit it so it will stay open but then the shut lines are all out

Yes, it was missing a metal spring clip on the back of the cap.
I found a complete cap on Ebay for not a lot of money as colour and condition didn't matter as long as it had the clip.
Was an easy fix.
