| What is it and where does it go? | |
I was changing the air filter today and noticed that the inlet boot had come away from the side of the filter housing so I pulled the housing and headlight out as access was really tight. Whilst they were out I had a quick check about for rust or leaks and noticed this pipe hanging beside a pulley which had cut into its end cap.
I’ve had a good root about but can’t find any stubs that it should be attached to but it seems to be part of what I think is the vacuum system pipe work running over the top of the engine but there’s nothing in the service manual.
Having had a look at the photos would any of you knowledgable gents in here know what this pipe is and what or where it should be attached to?
