Running a Cable Front to Rear of car?

Has anyone got any tips for running a cable from the glove box to the ICE in the rear of the car?

I need to run an alpine cable to the rear, where I will site the DAB Unit as I intend to share the TV antenna for the DAB signal.

I've had the tread plates off in the past and there is a decent chunk of room under there, is this the best place to run the cable?

Cool, thanks. Does it go under the rear seats OK? I've not had the trim off there before...

Basically is it a peice of cake? Ever the quest for an easy life Smile

Dan, I ran the aux in cable from the boot to the centre cubby box, basically took the wires behind the trim that hides the subwoofer, lifted the side trim for the seats out of the way, iirc, it just lifts out, then tucked them under the plastic trims for the weather seals, B pillar then in my case, tucked down under the gap where the carpet meets under the seat, but you could continue it to the kick panel trim then into the glovebox that way.

For getting anything past the subwoofer, (I went over the top) get a wire coat hanger and straighten it out, makes life so much easier. 2006 Mercedes CLS

I ran my harness in the OEM locations when I retrofitted the nav. If you pull up the sill trims you can get to platic nuts which hold the covers over the cable conduits. If you really want to go OEM, remove the front seat to use the conduit to the console. And in the back, the wiring runs up and under the side trim - as Scarey said.

Running in the conduits is maybe an additional 15mins of work - but worth it IMO (except possibly to the console/seat removal)
