Quick way of finding out if the PDC sensors are actually firing is select reverse (With the engine off but the ignition on), then very gently touch the pad of your fingertip against each one. You should feel a very feint pulse. If you're in a very quiet area you can also put your ear against them and can hear them pulsing.

On the later 2010 onwards the sensors don’t make a noise just get it plugged in to see which sensor is faulty when mine went bad it was a wiring issue behind the bumper |

Just a follow up on this as I managed to get a detailed diagnostic on this. It describes of an LED error? The only LED i can see on the parking sensor arrangement is on the switch itself? Could replacing the control panel possibly resolve this issue? |
