Headlamp washers

Mot due next week and headlamp washers not working. Thought they might be frozen or low on washer fluid. Topped the fluid up and it is “weeping” out of both washers so not frozen and pipes connected

Cant see in the handbook if there is a separate fuse for headlamp washer pump.
Does anyone know where the pump is located?

Thanks 2012 tdv8 Westminster arrived Jan 19 gone Dec 23

Found a good video showing location so just need to check if it is a separate fuse. Front and rear washers are separate fuses but no mention of headlight one. 2012 tdv8 Westminster arrived Jan 19 gone Dec 23

If you can't get it sorted in time for your MOT could you just prise out the jets from the bumper and put in some temporary grommets?

Ordered a new pump from Island 4x4 yesterday afternoon .just been delivered at lunchtime excellent service.

Hopefully not the relay causing the issue, if it is I will connect it in alongside the main windscreen washer as a temporary fix so it will work every time.

Need the car in the morning so will leave till tomorrow afternoon 2012 tdv8 Westminster arrived Jan 19 gone Dec 23

So put it in the garage last night as it’s been very cold up here overnight.

Woke up to 8” of snow!

Followed video and all changed and working fine...lessons learned?

1 clip tool is very handy I ordered one when I watched video. 5 small clips at front bottom of wheel liner are of the type that has a plastic plug in centre to push lugs out.

2. FFRR washer bottle holds a lot of water. Mine was full as I wanted to check it wasn’t a level issue it filled 3/4 of a bucket!

3. Wear water proof leggings as when you pull old pump off the water from the reservoir shoots out a long way, fortunately due to the snow I had some on otherwise I would have been soaked.

Drivers door window had frozen and had refused to drop more than 5mm fior a week or more, overnight in garage it thawed out and now works fine.

And don’t forget to put an axle stand underneath while you have a wheel off for safety 2012 tdv8 Westminster arrived Jan 19 gone Dec 23
