Am buying an ebay lcd remote to test out - anyone able to show an excerpt of wiring diagram, that serves the rear remote charging dock?

Also, what the part number is for that docking tray?

I’ve acquired an LCD remote but am not 100% sure whether it’s for the L322 or an L405z

Have tested it on mine and it doesn’t seem to work but as mine was crossover at the early introduction of LCD remotes, am unsure if it isn’t working because mine was never designed to work with LCD remote... or if it’s for an L405 and they’re incompatible.
Anyone help?

Sorry, missed your earlier reply. Let me see if I have the diagrams somewhere. Thought they were part of the workshop manual for our cars... could be wrong.

My RSE remote looks like that, but the screens look different.... yours look more modern, if memory serves....

I recon that’s for the L405. If I put the part number in Google it gives me another number which is as below....

Would years 2013-2017 equate to the mk1 L405 then? That’s one reason why it won’t work on my L322.

Must admit, the graphics on the LCD screen do look a lot more modern than my RSE system.

Ah well... guess I’ll keep looking

I recon so. I think the system is just different enough for it not to work. Like the L405 headphones being Bluetooth and our being infra red.

In the online manual, the screens for ours are much simpler, like I remember mine being.

No, everything I’ve posted is for the late L322 like ours. The part number listed is different to your unit, I’m sure yours is for the L405.

The wiring diagrams are in the workshop manual that’s downloadable from the Wiki.

Can’t see a part number, but the graphics look right for the L322.

Hey Guys!

Someone has this remote controller and can check if has option to switch to TV?
In my case i have only AV1 AV2 DVD options on remote. To turn on tv on RSE i need to use main screen buttons.

That remote should give the option to switch to TV (without using the screen in the front).

I only know that for sure because the other day I finally got round to trying mine...... sat in the rear right, set a dvd away, great, there's the dvd playing on both screens. Changed the RH one to TV. Picture changed (happened to be sports news) but I'm still listening to the dvd ('The Eagle Has Landed').
