How did you find the Coopers? I've just ordered a set for my Golf. A good mate of mine owns a tyre bay and got them at trade for me, and reckons they're made by Avon. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded |

The coopers were good all round and have a thicker side wall than the nittos. The ride is smoother now with the taller tyre but i have not tried them enough yet to know if i have made the right choice! The nitto's are rated as 117s and can be viewed at nittotire.com |

Just an update, you may have noticed im now selling these wheels and tyres. I am very happy with them apart from the fact they have slightly raised the gearing of my car. Normally this would not be a problem and may give better mpg when cruising but I do a lot of towing of 3.5 ton mobile classroons which are high sided and top heavy. I drive at no more than 50 mph with them and at this speed my car will not stay in top gear like it used to. Without the trailers it is fine and does not feel any different. I am therfore swapping back to a 50 profile tyre. |
