United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Baltic Blue
Our Autobiography after detailing

Whilst we were away recently we had the car washed in a hand car wash place in Liverpool as it was filthy and whilst it was having the starter motor replaced in the dealer they washed it again so it was unfortunately showing a few swirl marks.

However after a phone call to the local guy who does paint detailing the car is back and looking superb without a swirl in sight Very Happy

Here's his during picture showing the left hand side after he had machine polished it and the right hand side after just 5000 miles.

Am really pleased with the results and had forgotten just how nice Baltic Blue is with the sun on it :)

We've had three cars in with him in the last month so he did us a deal on the Range Rover. Due to the size he usually charges a bit more but he matched the cost of my Citroen's, so it was £140 all in which includes a nano wrap coating to stop things bonding to the paint which apparently lasts for around 18 months on cars that are used every day.

Here's the other two he did for us:

First to go in was my Mauritius Blue Xantia Activa:

The Activa is quite a fun car to drive as it has hydraulic rams on the anti roll bar instead of drop links so no matter how hard you throw it round a corner it doesn't body roll at all. It corners perfectly level. You can take roundabouts in the middle of dual carriageways without even having to brake Smile

Second to go in was my Citroen XM:

He's done a cracking job on all three cars so they're now all ready to go into hibernation for the winter until next spring again. The Xantia and XM are already under there covers keeping clean and dry.

David.

I used to have quite a few but have scaled right down and seem to be sticking with just the two at the moment.

They've both only done 52k miles and are in showroom condition so they were the two I kept. The suspension on the XM actually gives a smoother ride then the FFRR does!

Seem to be collecting P38's at the moment for some unknown reason! 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather

Ha ha!! Me and David talk every now and again about Citroens and FF's... I even got told off for pushing him towards an SC....

I think you need to recalculate the miles on the XM though as it appears a good few 1000 short Wink

You know you want to chop 2 P38's away for good money and get a nice SC cheaply to do the grunt work and a slightly cheaper DB9 for fun stuff Very Happy FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
