Scotland 2016 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black
SDV8 2016 Auxiliary Heatee

My RR SDV8 Vogue SE seems to have an auxiliary heater under the bonnet. I purchased the car second hand (Approved Used). How do I use the Aux heater? I was not supplied with a remote control- should I have been? Thank you all in advance.

It will Not necessarily have come with the remote. Check in the menus if you have timed climate, remote lark heat was an option, but iirc they come with the heater to help with warm up as standard, the ability to control it separately is the option. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I would expect a Vogue SE to have timed climate but remote park heat is the ultimate.

My previous SDV8 Vogue SE 4.4 (2015MY) had timed climate, but it did not show on the control screen and had to be turned on using the IID tool. So worth a check to see if you have a menu option for timed climate. SDV8 AB MY 2019

My autobiography came with this remote to activate the park heater
Also if you have the incontrol app there’s an option to turn it on from there too, the remote has a range of 50m but the incontrol works anywhere.

The heater will also kick in to help warm the engine from 5c and below

I order to make more use of the FBH, you may want to check out my guide on how to retrofit remote park heat and activate timed climate...
