Is Bovee 1000 the only option?

Evening all. As per the title really, is the Bovee the only option for Bluetooth streaming on a 2011 FFRR? Or are there other routes available?

Cheers 2011 Vogue SE Tdv8 FFRR

I got this for my 2007 with aux input, absolutely brilliant. As long as its plugged into the 12v it goes into standby when not in use and powers up when the ignition starts and automatically connects to your phone, I then stream from spotify or listen to audio books - sound quality is brilliant too.

Thanks Archie, certainly a low cost option. I assume all control must be done from your phone though? So no integration of the steering wheel controls etc. as per the Bovee (as the car thinks your phone is then an iPod)? 2011 Vogue SE Tdv8 FFRR

yes your right, the only steering wheel integration is the volume, no skip track. However as I use Waze on my phone for almost all journeys I have my phone in a bracket anyway so it personally wasn't a deal breaker for me (also being a 2007 i had no usb option Laughing )

I have the Invery in mine. Almost certain track skip etc works.
No text display on screen but other than that works as any the Bluetooth streaming car interface.

Works faultless in 2011.
My phone connects to both the car Bluetooth for calls and that unit for music simultaneously.

Thanks JNC, interesting. That's what I want ideally, music via a BT dongle and hands free via the car system as it works so well.

Looks like £66 direct from the airdual site too, not sure if any import duty though so need to check.

Am I right in thinking this is the same unit as the Bovee under a different brand name? Looks suspiciously similar at first glance 2011 Vogue SE Tdv8 FFRR

I also have this exact device and it works great!

(Caveat emptor, I didn't use it much as I ended up putting the Naviplus in, but it worked fine when I had it and I've a similar device in my other car which works great)

Surely if the text doesn’t display using the Invert then it can’t be the same as the Bovee since the bovee does display the test Wink
