Reversing Camera Quality - Is This Normal?

Hey Everyone, I am aware that there are a few topics on replacing the camera but very few of them seem to show before and after pictures, so its hard to know what is normal and what isn't.

I think the visibility from my camera is pretty bad but would like some feedback from those more knowledgeable which is basically anyone else on the forum, this is my picture quality taken on a reasonably sunny day today.- any thoughts?

Before you replace the camera check to make sure that the glass is not scratched/bloomed/dirty - if so, the damage may just polish out.

Also worth checking that the camera is getting a full 12v.

The sun can effect the image too - can you angle the camera down a little to negate the effect.

If you do replace the camera make sure you get a NTSC one. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6

Try turning down the brightness. It will improve the picture no end.

Thanks all for the suggestions. This weekend I spent a bit of time cleaning and polishing the camera housing and it has improved to the below. Again with nothing to compare against just wondered if this was the standard quality of image. Would the upgrade from powerfuluk be much of a difference? Aren’t we just limited by the actual quality of the screen?

A Trap

Yes that looks like the normal oem crap image, and no, if you replace the camera with a suitable new higher quality camera the image on the screen improves.
