Before you replace the camera check to make sure that the glass is not scratched/bloomed/dirty - if so, the damage may just polish out.

As Brian says, if you replace the camera NTSC only not PAL or PAL/NTSC. John

Try turning down the brightness. It will improve the picture no end.

Thanks all for the suggestions. This weekend I spent a bit of time cleaning and polishing the camera housing and it has improved to the below. Again with nothing to compare against just wondered if this was the standard quality of image. Would the upgrade from powerfuluk be much of a difference? Aren’t we just limited by the actual quality of the screen?

Yes that looks like the normal oem crap image, and no, if you replace the camera with a suitable new higher quality camera the image on the screen improves. |
