The Mrs is having an ML next to replace her BMW 330D M sport. I'm quite chuffed, I've been trying to get her to like 4wds for ages, but LRs have never floated her boat, so an ML is better than nothing, or a 911. ( I need her to get the dog too sometimes)

+1. Boring, bland and soulless. We spent a weekend in one prior to ending up in the FF and I couldn't wait to be shot of it. The interior is just awful and was not a nice place to sit for any length of time (unless you want a nap!) From what I've heard their pretty useless on anything but dry flat tarmac as well, not sure if that's an issue for your wife or not.

I would expect all FFRR owners to say these things and I agree, however it won't be my car and it's more practical for her, carrying the dog etc than on the back seat of the BMW.

Well, a few years back I bought a ML320 Avantgarde (petrol, not the 320 CDI) and it lasted 11 months. I changed it for one of the last D2's.

the only ML worth buying is the ML 63 AMG! The other ones are utter crap... Got one for a week and it didn't even compare with the X5, not close to the RR! 2000 BMW M5, Avus Blue/LeMans Leather Interior

TBH, if it was a car for me, and I had a choice between the FL2 and the current shape ML, I'd go for the ML

I took the daughter to look at the ML , as i am trying to get her out of her Merc Cabriolet , and she was quite impressed by the shape ( as she put it ) not as boxy and dated looking as the FFRR
