My 2p...

I'd steer well clear of Mercedes...their aftersales is shocking. If sales won't call you back, think what itll be like after they have your money. Have you looked at X5s? Used to have a 4.6 petrol and lasted to 100k with no problems. My RR has got to 1500 with quite a few. Family members have merc, like the cars, service is shocking.

Agreed about Merc service=w@nk. Build quality hasn't been any good since 1993ish. They're built by accountants now.

@Mick: you're paying too much for tires if the tire guy can get one for his Mrs!

I'd look at morecedes but I'm not a fat businessman, or a taxi driver.

(flame proof suit on) Thumbs Up

Guessing it's down to certain dealerships , in the immediate family we have Merc's , BMW , Jaguar , and the FF .....

if i were to put after sales service down in preference it would be ...

1/ BMW
2/ MERCEDES
3/ JAGUAR
4/ RANGE ROVER
Thumbs Up

The deal has been done, bar a few bits to be sorted.

A 2010 59 Plate ML350 Sport, Palladium Silver, with sunroof and 21"AMG alloys as extras, owned by an old boy, its immaculate.

Funny to see the list of preferences Mick. Everyone/ dealer is different hey? Discovery 4 HSE
