I've just bought an 06 L322 - on test driving it I noticed the airbag light was on, the garage offered to put a fresh MOT on the car for me, and fix the airbag light issue as part of that.

It does say that but I have read a number of posts about people just replacing them that I wanted clarification. Did your garage try reprogramming it? or just do as I did and replace it? And yes quite a coincidence that we are both in Cheltenham ![]() |

The module definitely has to be coded to the vehicle using some quite expensive diagnostic equipment, a good Indy will be able to do this for you but if not the main agent can, it usually costs around £70 to have them coded. Not unreasonable when you consider the price of the equipment needed |
