Anyone Any Experience of Terraclean on 4.4 TDV8

I have discovered that my 2010 4.4 TDV8 with 100K miles has a lot of gunge in inlet manifold pipes etc so presumably it's gungy elsewhere as well. Has anyone any experience of having this done and the likely cost? Just trying to work out if it's worth doing.

Take off the inlet and clean it yourself. It wont be gunky in the engine itself. As Mikey says...snake oil Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

I had a full Terraclean on my 2012 L322 4.4 TDV8 about a year ago.
There was no difference for in performance or DPF soot fill. I was measuring carefully using an IID Tool.
No-one has shown me any evidence Terraclean makes a tangible difference.

I will never use Terraclean again.

I have been using only Shell V-Power premium diesel and the amount of soot the car produces is definitely less over time: i.e. it is running cleaner gradually. I have this graphed and it's clear to see.

Better off taking the parts of yourself mate and cleaning it while it's off the engine. No carbon deposits to go through the engine that way plus better satisfaction knowing you've done it on xxxxx miles
