OK - so as I have the MY11, it should heat to 15 degrees. |

You're right it doesn't mention it! I was told in handover though that just adjust the temp setting and that'll sort it. BUT, I haven't actually used it... |

I thought it would heat as long as the temperature was below 15 degrees outside? Not heat the cabin to 15 degrees? Have you seen info to the contrary? (I'm only going on the earlier models behaviour though) The FBH unit will cut out if voltage falls below 11.4V. Also, a 10 minute run will never heat the cabin as the changeover valve only opens when the coolant reaches a set temperature in the engine first. I think the temperature guage on the dash starts at 50C so you wont see the dial move unless the FBH gets a full 30 minute run. |

I changed my post as I just checked with LR and my model is actually the 11, not the 11.5.

The Webasto is a Fuel Burning Heater. Much like the Range Rover is a 4x4. |

As per my above post - it will stop short of a full run if the battery voltage drops below 11.4V. You could test this with a multimeter across the battery terminals or jump points to see if the voltage is indeed dropping below this threshold. Also, as I said above, the engine is heated first, this generally takes about 15/20 minutes from experience (depending on the start temperature of the block). Then in the last 10 minutes the bypass valve opens and then heats the interior. |
