Hello All

It would appear I have the well known lock actuator motor fault - front passenger door won't open from the inside or outside and the orange light on the armrest is lit all the time. Looks fiddly to replace the actuator but I'm going to have a go at it the next dry day we get. My question is........how do I open the locked door to remove the door card/actuator ?

doesnt the front passenger door have the manual 'key' lock .. ... - .- -.

I'll need to check thoroughly - it was a bit dark last night. The drivers door latch has a hole on the underside to insert the key and prise open the cover but i couldn't feel one on the passenger side  2017 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography

i've just had a look at mine and you are correct , its the drivers door on the L405...i think its the passenger door on the L322..

have a look in the WM or do a search..

Thanks Stan. I'll have a trawl around and see if there is a way to open it. I'm sure if I took it to a Land Rover dealer (last resort) they could have it open without resorting to coat hangers.........or maybe not  2017 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography
