United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Santorini Black
USB stick

Hello, just a quick question. On a 2012 Westminster is it ok to leave a usb stick with music on it (in the centre console) all the time or should it be removed when the vehicle is not in use ? It doesn’t say in the manual. Thanks.

Same music for three years Laughing

I used auto updating playlists nearly every day, couldn't imagine still listening to stuff from three years ago.

I used mine for like 2 days, then went back to CDs. Better dynamic range.

Depends on how the CD is mastered, they can be but often are not that great. Same as with USB or other streaming media. They can be great, but don’t have to be.

Either way, even in a Range Rover the other influences of the car acoustics, sound system, road etc likely negate any noticeable differences.

In my opinion and experience naturally.

Switching off the awful logic 7 for music has the biggest positive impact 👍

Yeah. I have a LINN system in the house and can tell the difference. I do like my tunes. Don’t get to use the car as much now we are working from home.

One day.....

Hehehe fair enough. I was expecting something like that 👍

My daughter is a DJ / Producer, I wouldn’t survive as I’m outnumbered, listening to dad rock 🤣
