Difference in 2009 to 2010 entertainment system

Hi

I wonder if someone could tell me the difference between 2009 and 2010 entertainment system. In particular the RSE system. The reason I am asking is that I have recently bought some seats from a written off RR and wish to fit them and utilize the screens. I have the RSE control unit and considering taking the relevant connection cables and want to know if they are compatible from a 2009 to a 2011 car.

My 2011 has the touchscreen remote, as below. Not sure whether you will need this, or whether the older remote will just carry on working with the older RSE control unit.

I believe the headphones are still infrared and not Bluetooth yet, so at least that should be the same. I’d get as much from the doner car as possible. I know both cars use the MOST system and Canbus, but they might run at different speeds.

Hopefully someone has done this or looked at it, who can advise further.

Thumbs Up
