I have recently cleaned the door cards on my old SL Merc, 21 years of ingrained grime. After trying various methods I found a steam cleaner to be the most effective and efficient method with excellent results

Thanks I have a little karcher steam cleaner do you aim the steam straight at the dirt and then scrub or do you have one of the cloths on it and scrub with that? Current stable:

My steamer has a brush attachment that I used. Once the steam works its magic the grime lifted and could be wiped off with a microfibre cloth. 2007 TDV8 VSE

Ok I went in guns blazing... started up with steamer and fairy on a tooth brush came out quite well and wiped down, then went cif gently rubbing in with a toothbrush let it soak scrubbed and came out really well. Passenger looks and feels like new , driver looks like new but has a slightly rubbery feel now? Any ideas? I also got a bit of furniture clinic on the handle not perfect but loads better!
