cd changer pin outs

i have a 2005 cd changer and i hope it will play mp3's ..i would like to power it up and try it with a mp3 disc, rather then take out the old one and fit it to find it does not... V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

I would think you might struggle to do this. Even if you power up the unit successfully you will still need the control signals which tell it which CD to load etc.

you might have a problem there dave as the touch screen selects the track you want to listen to , as dom says you'll need to get an interface to control the changer..

btw the 6 cd changer does play mp3 tracks.. ... - .- -.

when you load a cartridge it will go through the six disc to identify them if it cant read the disc it will spin like mad
then move to the next disc , so hopefully if it is mps compatible it should see the disc. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.
