4.2 SC - Could anyone point me in the right direction please where I can buy a part that would go between the jack and the jacking point?

There isn't a part off the shelf that'll do it

These need drilling to fit your jack:

Seems the cheapest around at the moment but it's not UK stock.

. Cheers, Greg

Many thanks. I've seen these but my skills are sadly lacking in that regard. . . Range Rover 4.2 SC

I bought one from Creationmotorsport at £10.99 (PRODUCT CODE : AL0111) , do a search for mini jacking pad.
Im sure your local garage or a workshop would drill the single locating hole and another at right angles
to hold it on for a small fee.

I’ve just ordered a couple of the rubber ones to see how they work, will let you know when I get them.

I think the Mercedes Vito jack is a scissor jack as below. The drilling GGRR (Gary) is referring to is for a Mercedes Sprinter Jack which requires this mod here: https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic14177...ottle+jack

.. there is a general consensus scissor jacks are not great for Range Rovers, maybe the Vito jack is more substantial than the original RR scissor jack but the jacking points being inboard, weight and the small fulcrums all work against scissor jacks. There has been mention of scissor jacks collapsing under a Range Rover on level ground too. A bottle jack with a pedestal is generally considered preferable. Hope that helps!...
