Parking sensors (again..)

Hi,

I know sensor faults been covered to death but all front and rear sensors click when listened to - so no duff sensors to replace - but still get fault when selecting reverse.

With trailer attached fronts work fine, no fault. Cleaned and checked connectors on pdc unit all lookEd ok.

If all sensors click does this point to ecu trouble or still a possible wiring issue on rear loom?

Had rear bumper off and no obvious chaffing or broken wires.

Ta

Have you opened the pdc module & looked inside?
Had issues with mine & it was water damaged inside, possibly condensation as had no other signs of water.

Hi Rob, no not opened it up, but will do. Was your damage repairable/cleanable or did you go for a new module?

Thanks

May have been repairable by someone who understands electrickery, it had clear signs of moisture damage. I just replaced it with a new one.
May not be the same as your issue but worth a check, takes 2 minutes.
